Plaxico Burress emerged from prison wearing an old school Philadelphia Phillies cap on Monday morning and we'll leave it to the experts on Shutdown Corner to decide if that means his football future includes catching passes from Michael Vick in Philly.
But considering that Fashion Ump is under the impression that you can't buy hot fitteds at the prison commissary — or trade a few pack of smokes for one — he has to assume that Plax's choice of headwear was either a very conscious decision or that he was catching a ride home from Garry Maddox.
It also got him wondering what baseball cap he'd been sporting should he ever find himself sprung from highly-publicized charges of looking too good. The easy answer, of course, is the old Baltimore Orioles cap with the cartoon bird.
